Roero is 100% nebbiolo which is the prince of grapes in Piemonte. Barolo and Barbaresco, 2 of Italy’s most important wines are made from this grape. In Pocapaglia region (30 minutes from Barolo) the nebbiolo DOCG is “Roero".

"The 2019 is light ruby in colour. The nose is complex and savoury with notes of earth, briar, olive and cherry. It's soft and yummy to taste, an elegant dare I say feminine wine that is balanced, has lovely, acidity and a soft red fruit core. Structure is given by lovely integrated tannins. Brings to mind a high quality pinot noir"   95/100.
