Tria Prima is a boutique "nano-distillery" located in Mount Barker in the picturesque Adelaide Hills.
Whisky maker Paul Shand was formerly a geochemist, using chemistry as a tool to understand the evolution of the earth and its natural waters.
Whilst exploring for gold in the Scottish Highlands, he also discovered liquid gold in the local bars.
The same rigour is now applied to making whisky, building on the shoulders of the ancient alchemists and modern sages, but maintaining an emphasis on quality ingredients using hand crafted techniques.
Bruxa _ The Temptress
"Renowned for her ability to charm, she casts entrancting spells with every precious drop. Bruxa is a richly textured and captivating whisky with nuances of chocolate along with Fruit, Tawny and Oak.
The second release of Bruxa comes from a vatting of three 100 litre casks previously containing Seppeltsfield Tawny. The casks were scraped and given a low char to achieve a well balanced whisky."
