From a single vineyard high in the Eden Valley. Partner and good mate Dan Eggleton and I made this wine in partnership with the vineyard owner. He ended up in some financial trouble so the wine sat in limbo (a very well cellared limbo!) for several years. When we started Ben Murray Wines we saved the wine from exile and have released it with several years bottle age. Lovers of reisling with some aged nuances will fall in love with this wine.

"Machine-harvested, sorted, pressed directly to tank, wild-fermented. It has the intensity, fuelled by acidity, of the cool, wet growing season. A wine of "special value" at the price." 91/100
Not much of this is left and it is a favourite of a few wine bars in Sydney. So if you enjoy fine riesling with tons of interest, get in quick.
