100% Sangiovese from the best growing area for this grape  possibly on the planet - the Conca D'Oro of Chianti Classico. Aged for 12 months in medium sized aged oak barrels. From the 2013 vintage this wine is certified organic there are 22 wineries in Panzano - 21 are organic. "Lovely cherry red. Aromas of earth and violets. Lovely fruit concentration and medium weight. Is very clean and balanced. Perfect acidity gives this a long clean finish with soft integrated tannins and dry finish without the pucker. I am thinking Pappardelle with duck ragu or a medium rare steak."
