From 60 year old vines in Marananga in the Barossa Valley. Made by partner and mate Dan Eggleton who used to work at premier French oak barrel purveyor, Seguin Moreau. So we have thrown the best french oak at this beautiful fruit and the result is very cool.

But don't just take our word for it. This wine was recently reviewed by James Halliday for the new 2017 edition of his iconic tome, Wine Companion. Here is what he said :-

James Halliday - Published on 01 Aug 2017

"60yo bush vines, hand-picked, destemmed, wild yeast open-fermented, hand-plunged, extended skin contact, matured in French oak (30% new). Bright, light crimson-purple; a lively, juicy, fresh wine, looking as if it's well under 14.5% alcohol. The red berry fruits have crisp acidity and no sign of confection. A wine of special value for the price" 92/100.

Not bad eh! We know that you will love this wine.
