Ben Murray Wines - Barossa Valley

Ben Murray Wines (we can't say BMW) is the partnership between one of my best mates, Dan Eggleton (middle name Ben), and me (middle name Murray). He makes it, I sell it.

Dan has done everything in the wine industry. Operations Manager, Winemaker, Oak Specialist, Recruiter and General Manager of a Wine Storage business and a Wine Services business. There would not be a person in Australia that has deeper background of the wine industry.

As a winemaker Dan has constantly evolved. Having travelled extensively to France and Italy for work Dan has been influenced by his learnings there and has been passionate about getting the wine to speak of the vineyard. He is using less oak and striving for greater elegance and drinkability.

In our first entry in James Halliday's Wine Companion we were rated 4 out of 5 stars. Several of our wines were rated over 90 points.

We simply look to create quality wines with a distinctly Barossan fingerprint from the varieties that thrive in this golden valley- Shiraz, Grenache and Riesling.
